Teaching Philosophy

I practice Socratic mentorship: meet students where they are, kindle discovery with well-posed questions, and balance real autonomy with clear expectations, timelines, and accountability. I listen, facilitate resources, and monitor from afar—using humor and empathy to keep the spark alive—so students own the helm while productivity stays high.

Across small-section facilitations, I’ve directly instructed 300+ students.

I've guest-lectured four times for Harvard Life Sciences Courses.
